The Church Ministries is a church plant launched in May of 2018. Our mission is simple and enduring: to make disciples who make disciples. The Church is a regular assembly of people committed to Christ and to one another, displaying God’s wisdom (Ephesians 3:10) and Christ-like love (John 13:35).

Together, we are The Church Ministries: a diverse, faith-filled family rooted in biblical truth and fueled by prayer, authentic relationship building, and a shared mission. A community, partnering to disciple, support, and empower one another.

We are committed to living out our Faith in our city and beyond; working together to building lives that reflect the Love of Christ and displaying His transforming power in our world, and inviting others to join us in this important mission.

Meet Pastor Lori Porter

Pastor Lori Porter accepted Christ in 1988 and soon felt the call to ministry, especially in empowering women to discover freedom and purpose through Christ. Since 1992, she has ministered across the United States, Africa, and London — teaching, mentoring, and helping others walk in wholeness.

As a bi-vocational pastor, she also leads TCM Consult & More, a business dedicated to helping small churches and nonprofit organizations achieve financial sustainability, strategic growth, and impactful event planning.

Pastor Lori is also the founder of Restore Her Ministries (formerly The Women of Praise Ministries), which began in 1999 and continues to host conferences and gatherings that strengthen and inspire women in both the church and marketplace.
